It can be ordered in a 20,000 BTU version for regular rooms or a 9,500 BTU version for a bedroom—it meets all the safety standards for that. CONTROL SYSTEM:

• Manual Safety Pilot (Vent-Free Gas Logs – 20,000 BTU) is easy to operate with a push-button igniter. If the pilot light goes out or the gas flow is interrupted, the system automatically shuts off for safety. It can run on either natural gas or propane and is compatible with 16", 20", and 24" gas logs. The G8E burner creates lively, realistic flames while using less gas. As a vent-free unit, it provides extra heat to warm your space. It also features an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS), which will turn off the burner if oxygen levels are too low.
• Basic On/Off Remote (Vented Gas Logs – 20,000 BTU) - allows you to turn the burner on or off. It operates on natural gas or propane and works with 16", 20", and 24" logs. The G8E burner system delivers beautiful flames and glowing embers while using less gas. Since it’s a vented system, it requires proper ventilation. It also includes an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) for added safety, which shuts off the burner if oxygen levels drop.
• Variable Remote (Vent-Free Gas Logs – 20,000 BTU) - includes a remote control that lets you adjust the flame height for more precise heat control.
