We The People Cast Iron Pennsylvania Fireback
This classic cast iron fireback commemorates the signing of the Constitution of the United States in 1787. The artist of this fireback, J. Del Conner, is a direct descendant of, Phillip Syng, Jr., who was the silversmith that crafted the Independence Hall Ink Stand in 1752! This elegant fireback is coated in a water-based matte black paint. This is to help prevent rusting during transportation. This paint may contain slight imperfections which are inherent from the sand casting process during manufacturing. Don't fret about them though, as they are easily removed with a wire brush, sandpaper, or steel wool! If there is a bare spot in the paint, you can use the (sold separate) stove polish, plus you can apply this polish yearly to keep it looking new. Position this fireback against the rear wall of the fireplace hearth, or you can position it upright, slightly backwards, or forwards with the unique (sold separate) Safe-T-Boots! These feet can be used with a number of fireplace log accessories including cast iron grates, wrought iron grates, andirons (fire-dogs), or gas log systems!
DO NOT:
- Expose the fireback to coal fires
- Expose the fireback to water
- Use with a "Wall of Fire" type grate or lean burning logs up against the fireback

The following materials and workmanship in your new NAPOLEON gas appliance are warranted against defects for as long as you own the appliance. This covers: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, phazer™ logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered and NAPOLEON will provide replacement parts free of charge during the fi rst year of the limited warranty. This covers: blowers, gas valves, thermal switch, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitor, gasketing, and pilot assembly.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered free of charge during the fi rst year. Repair work, however, requires the prior approval of an authorized company offi cial.
