The Cottagewood has a large viewing area of 36" x 28 1/2" and a custom masonry look. It includes tuckaway stainless steel screens for an open view of the flames or to keep sparks contained. The black grate and stainless steel facings enhance its timeless design, adding both style and practicality to your backyard or patio.
The zero-clearance installation offers flexibility and blends easily with your flooring for a cohesive appearance. It is safe to use on wood or composite decks when paired with a 20" protective hearth apron. The fireplace also includes an easy damper control for managing airflow and smoke, which is especially convenient for enclosed patios.
Additional features include an outside air kit, dual gas knockouts, stainless steel safety screens, and a UL/ULC listing for safety compliance. The model is designed to accommodate logs up to 19" and uses an 11" SL1100 Series chimney system. Framing dimensions are 45-1/2" w x 59-3/4" h x 28" d, and the unit weighs 360 pounds.

Unvented Gas Logs
- Caution:
- If installed, the gas appliance must only be operated with the fireplace glass door fully open (if included).
- Only unvented gas log sets complying with ANSI Z21.11.2 standards for unvented room heaters should be installed.
- Additional requirements:
- The unvented gas appliance must incorporate an automatic shutoff device.
- Must be installed per the National Fuel Gas Code Z223.1, Latest Edition.
- Warning!
- Do not operate an unvented gas log set in this fireplace with the chimney removed.
